RBW Waste Management Ltd. incorporates technologically advanced equipment, improved processing methods and a well-engineered containment system which together contribute to enhanced environmental performance.

Our Edmonton recycling facility includes two 9,600 ft² buildings. The Processing Building, constructed in 1998, contains specialized machinery designed for waste recovery and recycle. The second building, completed in spring 2003, is our receiving and storage facility, which can store a maximum of 299,040 L of waste.

The facility incorporates several environmental protection features. These include:

• Clay and synthetic liners underneath the buildings
• Secured-access facility
• Thermal oxidizer for gaseous emission destruction
• Groundwater monitoring wells
• Spill containment in all waste storage areas
